Vancouver cruise parking: Canada Place parkade rates and other lots
The Port of Vancouver sends cruise passengers to the Canada Place parkade, under the cruise terminal and run by Indigo. Long-term parking there cost C$74.50 a day in Canadian dollars when we checked Indigo's cruise parking page on 4 November 2026, at the pay stations or booked ahead, plus fees if you book. Indigo also sells cruise parking at three downtown garages for C$50 to C$60 a day. Indigo says cruise parkers must use P2, where the height limit is 205 cm (6 ft 9 in).

Cruise parking in Vancouver starts with the Canada Place parkade, an underground garage in the same building as the cruise terminal. Canada Place says Indigo runs it and that you drive in at the foot of Howe Street, by the same ramp the port uses for cruise drop-off. It is the only parking on the Port of Vancouver's directions page for cruise passengers, and Holland America and Royal Caribbean both send their passengers to the port's page for parking.
Indigo also sells cruise parking at three other downtown garages on its own cruise parking page. The prices below are in Canadian dollars, written C$, and come from Indigo's page as we read it on 4 November 2026.
Before you leave a car anywhere, check that your cruise comes back to Vancouver. 342 of the 749 sailings on our schedule are one-way and end somewhere else, so the car would still be here when you finish. See parking for a one-way cruise below.
This site is independent. It is not the Port of Vancouver, Canada Place or Indigo, and it does not sell parking.

Where do you park for a Vancouver cruise?
In the Canada Place parkade, under the cruise terminal at 999 Canada Place. The port's directions page lists it as the place for long-term cruise parking, and Indigo, which runs it, sells it as lot V374 on its cruise parking page. Canada Place lists the cruise terminal and Indigo's parkade among the tenants of the same building.
Drive in by the vehicle ramp at the foot of Howe Street, which Canada Place gives as the parkade's entrance. The street in front, Canada Place, has been one-way westbound between Burrard and Howe streets since 1 January 2026, the City of Vancouver says, while Howe Street between Canada Place and West Cordova Street stays two-way. The Canada Place terminal guide covers the building and the drop-off lanes.
How much is cruise parking at Canada Place?
C$74.50 a day when we checked Indigo's cruise parking page on 4 November 2026. That is the same whether you pay at the pay stations in the parkade or book ahead online or in Indigo's app. Booking ahead adds booking, convenience and transaction fees, which the page does not list. Indigo's booking pages end with a review step before you pay.
Indigo describes the pay-station rate as C$74.50 per day, with each day ending at midnight. Counted that way, a 7-night cruise that leaves on a Saturday and returns the next Saturday covers eight days, which comes to C$596 at that rate. Check the total for your own dates when you book.
The port's page gives no rates of its own, only Indigo's phone numbers: 604-669-7275 locally and 1-800-469-4169 toll-free.
Can you book Canada Place cruise parking ahead?
Yes. The port says to contact Indigo to book a spot, and Indigo's cruise parking page links to a booking page for each of its four cruise garages, Canada Place included, with a choice to park now or book in advance. At Canada Place you can also pay on the day at the pay stations. At the other three garages, same-day and advance parking are both bought online or in the app only.
Indigo's cruise parking policies set the rules for changing your mind:
- You get a refund if you cancel up to 7 calendar days before your start date. Within 7 days of the start date, or after it, there is no refund.
- Changes to a booking are accepted up to 7 calendar days before the start date.
- To change or cancel, you contact Indigo's guest services in British Columbia by email. The address is on Indigo's page.
Canada Place parkade height limits and levels
The port gives long-term parking limits of 198 cm (6'6") on P1 and 205 cm (6'9") on P2, and Indigo's rates page gives the same limits in feet and inches. The two sources differ on where cruise passengers park. The port's page, read on 4 November 2026, says long-term parking is available on both P1 and P2, while Indigo's page, read the same day, says cruise parkers must park on P2. Indigo sells the parking, so plan on P2 unless Indigo tells you otherwise.
Ride-hailing drivers also use P2 to drop off cruise passengers, according to the port.
Can you park an RV or a tall van for a Vancouver cruise?
Not without calling Indigo first. The port asks drivers of over-height vehicles to contact Indigo for help, on 604-669-7275 or 1-800-469-4169. Neither the port's page nor Indigo's cruise parking page gives an RV rate or names a lot for vehicles taller than 205 cm (6'9").
The three other Indigo garages are lower than Canada Place, at 6'5" for the Pender Parkade and 6'2" for the Thurlow Parkade and Arthur Erickson Place. A vehicle between 6'5" and 6'9" tall fits P2 at Canada Place but none of the other three.
Other Indigo cruise parking in downtown Vancouver
Indigo sells cruise parking at three garages away from the terminal, all with lower daily rates than Canada Place on the day we checked. All three are booked online or in the app, not at a pay station.
- Bentall Centre, Pender Parkade. 1040 West Pender Street. C$60 a day, fees and taxes included. Park on level P5, and your vehicle must be no taller than 6'5".
- Bentall Centre, Thurlow Parkade. 540 Thurlow Street. C$60 a day, fees and taxes included. Park on P1, P10 or P11, with a 6'2" height limit.
- Arthur Erickson Place. C$50 a day plus convenience and transaction fees. Park on P2 or below, not in reserved or electric-vehicle stalls, with a 6'2" height limit. Indigo's cruise page gives no street address for it.
Indigo's page mentions no shuttle from any of the three to the cruise terminal and gives no walking time. You get yourself and your bags to Canada Place. If you are driving, you can drop your passengers and bags at the terminal first, using the port's 15-minute stop in the Canada Place parkade, and then drive on to the garage. That is our suggestion, not Indigo's.
Dropping off and picking up at Canada Place
The port allows stops of 15 minutes or less in the Canada Place parkade to drop off or pick up cruise passengers. Stay longer and you take a stall and pay at a pay station or online. You enter by the ramp at the foot of Howe Street, where a port traffic attendant gives you a lane.
For a pick-up after the cruise, the port sends drivers down the same ramp to the orange zone on P1 and its immediate pick-up lane. If your passengers are not there yet, it asks you to leave the lane and wait in a parking stall, and parking fees apply. Ride-hailing cars may drop off on P2 but may not pick up at the terminal. The terminal guide has the full drop-off steps.
Parking for a one-way cruise from Vancouver
342 of the 749 sailings on our schedule are one-way. The one-way Alaska trips end in Seward (92 sailings), Whittier (144) or Juneau (16). Other one-way voyages end in Seattle, Los Angeles, San Diego, Honolulu, Tokyo and ports further away. After any of them, your car is still in Vancouver.
Indigo's cruise parking page quotes a daily rate and says nothing about one-way cruises or a longest stay. If you fly home from Alaska, you still have to come back to Vancouver for the car, and the parking bill runs until you do. The one-way Alaska cruises guide covers those routes.
Is there accessible parking at Canada Place?
Yes. Canada Place's visitor page says the parkade has accessible parking stalls and that most of the facility is at ground level, with accessible washrooms on every level. Neither Canada Place nor Indigo publishes a separate rate for them. For help inside the terminal, see the accessibility section of the terminal guide.
Leaving your car at Canada Place for a cruise
Indigo's terms are plain about what you are paying for. Its conditions of service say the charge is for the parking space only and that Indigo accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to vehicles or their contents. It does not take custody of the vehicle.
Its cruise parking policies add two rules. Do not park in spaces marked "RESERVED", because your vehicle will be towed at your expense. And do not leave valuables in the car.
Getting to Canada Place without a car
If parking for a week or more costs more than you want to spend, there are other ways to the terminal:
- SkyTrain from YVR. The port says the terminal is next to Waterfront station, and TransLink's Canada Line runs from YVR-Airport station to Waterfront with no change of train. The YVR airport to Canada Place guide covers fares and the other options.
- From elsewhere in Metro Vancouver. Waterfront station is also on SkyTrain's Expo Line and the West Coast Express commuter train, and it connects to the SeaBus ferry, according to TransLink.
- Taxi to YVR after the cruise. The port's page lists a C$42 flat taxi fare from the terminal to YVR when we read it on 4 November 2026.
- From Seattle. See Seattle to Vancouver for a cruise. For the trip back, Gray Line Westcoast Sightseeing, at the terminal's ground transportation desk, can arrange bus service from Vancouver to Seattle and SeaTac airport, the port says.
- A hotel the night before. The hotels near Canada Place guide compares places to stay within reach of the terminal.
Once the parking is settled, browse cruises from Vancouver by month to find your sailing.
