Cheap and last-minute cruises from Vancouver: the lowest fares

On 4 November 2026 the lowest starting fare from Vancouver was $109 per person, the lowest on a round trip $419, and the lowest per night $83. Each fare is for the cheapest cabin listed with two guests sharing, taxes and port fees included, and is the price we read that day, not a live quote. The cheapest trips are short one-way hops down the coast. Nothing leaves Vancouver before 7 April 2027, so there are no last-minute sailings until then.

A cheap cruise from Vancouver, on this site, means a low starting fare, which is the price for one person in the cheapest cabin listed, with two guests sharing and taxes and port fees included, on the day we read it. This guide shows where the low fares are on our schedule by trip length, route and month, what the lines add on board, and what we can say about booking late.

This site is independent. It is not the Port of Vancouver, Canada Place or any cruise line, and it does not sell cruises. For the current lists, see cheap cruises, sorted by fare and by fare per night, and last-minute cruises, which shows every sailing in the next 60 days.

What is the cheapest cruise from Vancouver?

On 4 November 2026 the lowest starting fare from Vancouver was $109 per person, with taxes and port fees included. When we wrote this on 4 November 2026, that was Norwegian Encore's 1-night trip to Seattle, and the next lowest was Holland America's 1-night trip to Seattle on Eurodam. If you are after a dirt-cheap cruise from Vancouver, these one-night hops are it, but they are one-way, so add the trip back from Seattle.

By trip length, these were the lowest fares on 4 November 2026:

LengthSailingsLowest fareLowest per night
Under a week, 1 to 6 nights27$109$84
7 nights476$594$85
10 nights30$908$91
14 nights128$1,256$90
Every sailing749$109$83

Each figure is the lowest at that length, so the figures come from different ships and months. The lowest 7-night fare is not always an Alaska round trip. When we wrote this it was Royal Caribbean's one-way trip from Vancouver to San Diego on Serenade of the Seas.

What is the cheapest Alaska cruise from Vancouver?

On 4 November 2026 the lowest fare on any round trip from Vancouver was $419. When we wrote this on 4 November 2026, that was Crown Princess's 4-night Alaska round trip to Ketchikan in April 2027.

For a full week, Royal Caribbean's 7-night round trips on Serenade of the Seas had the lowest round-trip fares when we wrote this. Most call at Juneau, Sitka and Ketchikan, with Icy Strait Point, Prince Rupert, Tracy Arm or Endicott Arm on some. By the glacier day each route offers, these were the lowest on 4 November 2026:

Alaska route from Vancouver7-night sailingsLowest 7-night fareLowest round-trip fareLowest per night
Glacier Bay201$631$799$90
Hubbard Glacier95$674$801$96
Endicott Arm71$749$749$107
Tracy Arm29$653$653$93
Other Alaska routes73$666$419$95

The 7-night column includes one-way trips north. When we wrote this, the lowest 7-night Glacier Bay fare was Norwegian Jade's one-way trip to Whittier, and the lowest Hubbard Glacier fare a one-way trip to Anchorage. A one-way fare north can sit below a round trip, but you then fly home from Alaska. The one-way Alaska guide covers those trips, and the Alaska guide compares the round trips.

Which cruises from Vancouver cost least per night?

The long one-way voyages and the short coastal trips. On 4 November 2026 the lowest fare per night on any sailing was $83, and on a round trip $93. When we wrote this on 4 November 2026, the lowest per night was Crown Princess's 23-night voyage to Los Angeles by way of Hawaii.

These were the lowest fares on the routes beyond Alaska on 4 November 2026:

RouteSailingsLowest fareLowest per night
Pacific coast, one-way to Seattle or California33$109$84
Hawaii12$905$83
Panama Canal5$2,068$90
Japan and Asia28$1,357$97
South Pacific2$2,609$109
South America2$3,409$120

A low fare per night on a 3-week voyage is still a large total, and almost all of these trips are one-way, so the flight home comes on top. The repositioning guide and the Hawaii guide cover each route.

Which months are cheapest for a cruise from Vancouver?

September, per night, when we wrote this on 4 November 2026. September 2027 had the lowest fare per night of any month, on a one-way voyage south, and July had the highest per night of the 2027 summer months. In both years the lowest fare of all fell in April, on a 1-night trip to Seattle.

These were the figures on 4 November 2026:

MonthSailingsLowest fareLowest per night
April 20277$139$97
May 202773$454$90
June 202778$671$96
July 202785$799$114
August 202779$755$108
September 202771$334$83
October 202717$509$90
November 20271$905$101
April 202810$109$109
May 202864$651$98
June 202868$841$120

August 202873$776$111
September 202847$459$92
October 20283$555$104

Nothing on our schedule leaves Vancouver between 8 November 2027 and 12 April 2028, so December to March are missing. The season guide covers what leaves in each month.

What does a cruise fare from Vancouver include on this site?

Every fare on this site is a starting fare in US dollars, per person, for the cheapest cabin listed, with two guests sharing and taxes and port fees included. Each one shows the date we read it, and none is a live price. Where a seller discounts the second guest, the per-person figure splits that discount between the two.

Booking sites do not always show the same figure. When we read Cruisebound's page for Serenade of the Seas' 7-night Alaska cruise of 30 May 2027 on 4 November 2026, it gave its interior fare per person "excluding taxes & port fees", with 60% off the second guest. Its page for Crown Princess's 16-night Hawaii cruise of 23 September 2028 also gave its fare excluding taxes and port fees. A figure you see there can sit below ours for the same cabin.

Cruisebound's page listed breakfast, lunch and dinner, water, juice, coffee and tea, shows and the ship's facilities as included. Drinks packages, gratuities, Wi-Fi, specialty dining, spa packages and shore excursions were add-ons. Princess's page on what its fare includes lists drinks, Wi-Fi, specialty dining, shore excursions, spa services and laundry as extras.

How much do gratuities add to a cheap cruise from Vancouver?

Holland America, Princess, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity, which run most of the sailings on our schedule, add a daily charge for each guest to the onboard account. These were the rates on each line's own page when we read them on 4 November 2026, in US dollars:

LinePer guest per day, standard cabinsSuitesService charge on drinks
Holland America$18.00$20.0020%
Princess$18.00$20.00 ($19.00 for mini-suites)20%
Royal Caribbean$18.50$21.0018%
Celebrity$19.50$24.50 in The Retreat ($20.50 for Concierge and AquaClass)20%

For two guests on a 7-night trip at $18 a day, that is $252 by our arithmetic, whatever the cabin cost, so it weighs most on the lowest fares. At the same rate a 1-night hop adds $36. Holland America, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity say you can change the amount on board, and Princess, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity let you prepay it.

Getting to Canada Place, parking and a hotel the night before are extra as well. The parking guide, the YVR airport guide and the hotels guide cover those costs, and the cruise documents guide covers what you need at the terminal.

Are last-minute cruises from Vancouver cheaper?

We cannot say yet. This site started recording Vancouver fares in November 2026, too recently to show how a fare moves as sailing gets closer, so we do not predict which way yours will go. A starting fare is the cheapest cabin still for sale. When that cabin sells or the seller changes its price, the starting fare moves to whatever is cheapest next.

Nothing leaves Vancouver on our schedule before 7 April 2027. The last-minute page lists every sailing in the next 60 days, so it stays empty until about two months before that date, and again between seasons.

What leaves first in the Vancouver cruise season?

The first sailing on our schedule is on 7 April 2027. When we wrote this on 4 November 2026, that was Koningsdam's 17-night Hawaii round trip, and the rest of April 2027 was short trips and the first Alaska sailings: Holland America's 1-night trip to Seattle, Crown Princess's 4-night round trip to Ketchikan and Royal Princess's 3-night trip to Seattle among them. On 4 November 2026 our schedule had 7 sailings in April 2027, the lowest at $139.

In 2028 the season starts with 10 sailings in April, the first on 12 April 2028, at fares from $109. The April 2027 and April 2028 pages list them.

What should you check before booking a cheap cruise from Vancouver?

Three things that change the real cost of a low fare:

  1. Whether it comes back. Most of the lowest fares are one-way. Add the flight or the trip back from Seattle, Los Angeles, San Diego, Honolulu or Alaska before you compare them with a round trip.
  2. The cabin. Our figure is the cheapest cabin listed. When we wrote this, that was an interior cabin on most sailings and a suite on the all-suite luxury ships, and on some sailings our record shows only the lowest fare without the cabin type. If you want a window or a balcony, the seller's page has those prices.
  3. The date of the fare. Each fare here shows the day we read it. The seller's page has the current price and what it includes.

Does this site sell cheap cruises from Vancouver?

No. We list starting fares and do not sell cruises, so we cannot hold a price or a cabin. The fare you pay is whatever the seller shows when you book. Some links on this site are affiliate links, and the affiliate disclosure explains how that works.
